Amakristalu ekhwalithi ephezulu e-BGSe (BaGa4Se7) iyi-analogue ye-selenide ye-chalcogenide compound BaGa4S7, isakhiwo sayo se-acentric orthorhombic sahlonzwa ngo-1983 futhi umphumela we-IR NLO wabikwa ngo-2009, iyikristalu esanda kwakhiwa ye-IR NLO.Itholwe ngendlela ye-Bridgman–Stockbarger.Le kristalu ikhombisa ukudluliselwa okuphezulu ebangeni elibanzi le-0.47-18 μm, ngaphandle kwenani eliphakeme lokumunca cishe elingama-15 μm.
